Detainees believed to be on this flight: Muhammed Abu-Shaker, father of a 19-month-old U.S. citizen daughter; Munir Lami, a Palestinian man who has lived in the US for 16 years. He has raised nine children in this country and has eight grandchildren.

Similarly to Farouk, Amer Jubran was arrested on immigration charges shortly after demonstrating in support of Palestine. He was first charged with giving false information. After a judge determined his attorney was at fault, the INS (BICE) charged him with entering into a false marriage to gain a green card.
